Cigar Aficionado 

Program offered throughout the year.

Gather your special group for a trip you will tell everyone about.

We have planned and operated several private aficionado groups to some of Cuba's legionary tobacco growing centers.

Our programs includes an English-speaking Cuban expert with a personal style that matches his in-depth knowledge of Cuba's most famous product to give us an orientation talk on our first day.  In fact, Juan-Carlos is featured in the video clip of the La Corona factory in Havana. 

Our trip visits the well known factories in Havana, travel to Cuba's pristine province of Pinar del Río  to visit local communities, private tobacco farms and interact with Cuban citizens.  Meals is the finest restaurants. 

All our programs are designed to comply with the U.S. regulations regarding travel to Cuba. Each traveler received a letter authorizing travel under the OFAC license regulations.

Cuba is so near and yet so foreign.

​Suggested Itinerary 

 

  • DAY 1.  

Arrive Havana.  Informative talk by our                       expert on Cuban cigars and the regions we will visit. Welcome dinner at a private home. 

  • DAY 2.   

Visit our first cigar factory. Lunch in Old Havana followed by a walk through this historic district and the colorful neighborhoods that define this Capitol city.            .

  • DAY 3.   

Visit to our second factory.  Followed artist's studios with a studio lunch.  Afternoon, enjoy private jazz performances. Evenings free for local music and Salsa dancing.

  • DAY 4.   

Visit farmer's market with an excursion into the countryside of Pinar del Río, tobacco farms and country lunch.  Return to Havana, visit the Hemingway Estate, outside the city.

  • DAY 5.   

Day set free for specific group requests.

  • DAY 6.   

  • Return home.

Program is operated by WorldGuest Travel Services, , Inc. and is licensed to travel to Cuba for authorized exchange activities.  These regulations require that guest’s participation on each program is mandatory. All travelers will receive confirmation authorizing travel to Cuba.
